Pup Patrol Daycare, previously known as Waggs and Whiskers and owned by Pam Knowles, has been a beloved pup place since its inception in 2007. Pam started the daycare with just one dog a day and transformed it into the well-known doggy daycare in the area. As her business flourished, she expanded her staff, affectionately referring to them as 'the pup patrol.' In November 2021, Pam passed the torch to Tessa, an employee since 2015 who shares her passion for the pups. Tessa has continued to operate the daycare with the same dedication as Pam, though the service is now slightly downsized, with no onsite boarding or weekend care. While we do not provide traditional kennel services, we do have several staff members offering a dog sitting service in their homes exclusively for our clients! Contact us for more information.
We offer a fully supervised, leash and kennel-free space for your dogs to run around, burn energy, socialize, and have fun at our doggy daycare. We understand that many people have long commutes to work every day, which is why our boarding and daycare services operate early, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Please note that we a
We offer a fully supervised, leash and kennel-free space for your dogs to run around, burn energy, socialize, and have fun at our doggy daycare. We understand that many people have long commutes to work every day, which is why our boarding and daycare services operate early, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Please note that we are closed on weekends and statutory holidays. Our drop-off times for our pup place are between 6:00 am and 10:00 am; we kindly ask clients to stay within this timeframe as it is part of our routine and schedule. Pickup time is between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm, but earlier pickups may be arranged for a scheduled Half Day. Please be aware that there are late fees for clients who pick up after 6:00 pm.
Our spacious boarding facility features both indoor and outdoor play areas, cozy sleeping quarters, and plenty of toys and games to keep your dog entertained. We have 3 large rooms designed like living rooms, equipped with A/C, heat, multiple couches, dog beds, a TV, kitchenette, and bathrooms. This creates a home-like environment for you

We have 3 large rooms designed like living rooms, equipped with A/C, heat, multiple couches, dog beds, a TV, kitchenette, and bathrooms. This creates a home-like environment for your pups to relax after a big play outside or even to enjoy a fun day at our doggy daycare, especially on rainy days! Outside, we offer a fully fenced area covered with astro turf, which helps keep the dogs cleaner and lowers the risk of ticks. During the summer, we have multiple play structures, shade options, and pools for cooling off. Our kennel is cleaned and sanitized daily to ensure the health and safety of all pets at our pup place.
